Regain a full, fixed set of teeth in 3–5 days with the All-on-4 technique. Just four implants support a complete arch of teeth — no removable dentures, no bone grafts in most cases — from €4,800 at Sera Dental Clinic Istanbul.
All-on-4 is a full-arch dental implant solution that uses just four strategically placed implants to support a complete set of fixed upper or lower teeth. The two back implants are tilted at an angle (typically 30–45 degrees) to engage more bone and distribute forces evenly — which means most patients do not require bone grafting, even if they have experienced some bone loss due to missing teeth or long-term denture use.
The technique was developed to give people with full or near-full tooth loss a permanent alternative to removable dentures. Unlike conventional implants where each missing tooth requires its own implant, All-on-4 supports an entire arch on just four implants. The final prosthesis is a fixed bridge — it does not come in and out, it does not move when you eat, and it feels like natural teeth.
All-on-6 is a variation that uses six implants instead of four, offering additional stability particularly for the upper arch where bone density tends to be lower. Our implant specialist will advise which option is more appropriate for your case after reviewing your 3D CT scan.
Most medically healthy adults are suitable candidates. Controlled diabetes, treated gum disease, and moderate bone loss are generally manageable. Active smoking is a risk factor that we discuss honestly with all patients, as it affects healing rates. Uncontrolled systemic disease or certain medications may affect suitability — we review your full medical history during consultation.
Here is a brief overview of what to expect after All-on-4 surgery. For a detailed week-by-week guide, see our dedicated All-on-4 Recovery Timeline article.

Preparing for your trip? Our All-on-4 Recovery Timeline guide covers everything from day one through to your final prosthesis.
In the weeks following surgery, you will be on a soft diet to protect the healing implants. Once the permanent prosthesis is fitted (usually at 4–6 months), you can eat a full normal diet including most foods. The only long-term restriction is avoiding very hard objects like ice or cracking nuts with your teeth — the same advice given to people with natural teeth.
We recommend 5–7 days for the initial visit. This allows time for imaging and planning (day 1), surgery (day 2), recovery observation and follow-up check (days 3–4), and a comfortable travel day at the end. You then return for a second visit of 2–3 days for the final prosthesis fitting, approximately 4–6 months later.
The surgery itself is performed under local anaesthesia and is not painful during the procedure. Sedation is available for anxious patients. After surgery, swelling and discomfort are normal for the first 3–5 days and are well-managed with prescribed medication. The majority of our patients describe the recovery as more comfortable than they expected.
Send us your recent X-rays or a CBCT scan and we will assess your suitability and provide a personalised quote within 24 hours.
